Fun Fact Friday: Neon Slugs
Usually my Fun Fact Fridays consist of diy tips, but today I am going to take a different route. I have an appreciation for animals and species that do not usually get the regular spotlight. As I was exploring the wonderful world of the internet, I saw this picture of a GIANT NEON SLUG! Obviously I had to check it out to see if this was in fact real.
Well my friends, this thing is the real deal and it is called Triboniophorus aff. graeffei. I do not like saying that it is a new specie but rather a newly discovered specie. It measures at an amazing 8 inches and can be found on the East Coast of Australia.
If you would like further information, National Geographics has a great article on it here. Enjoy and have a happy Friday 🙂
